Title: Data Entry Clerk
Employee Category: 6/Educational Support Personnel
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in data entry operations or completion of a computer skills vocational program.
- Ability to word process or type at least 25-40 words per minute.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in office procedures, principles, and practices.
- Knowledgeable in computer operations.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to work harmoniously with others.
Reports To: Site Administrator
Job Goal: To maintain automated student records as required and support routine assignments for the smooth operation of the school.
Performance Responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
- Prepare data collection sheets.
- Collect, organize, and input data for automated student records.
- Generate reports as needed.
- Maintain records of automated submissions.
- Assist colleagues with data entry requirements.
- Aid the administrator in meeting student database needs.
- Support in producing instructional materials.
- Perform general office tasks as necessary.
Inter/Intra-agency Communication and Delivery: 9. Communicate effectively with staff and administration. 10. Keep the supervisor informed of potential issues. 11. Address inquiries and concerns promptly.

Physical Requirements: Light work with occasional exertion of up to 20 pounds of force.
Terms of Employment: 9 1/2 Month Salary and benefits per the District’s compensation plan. Hours as established by the District.
Evaluation: Annually by designated administrator as per Board policy. Salary Item Number: 41
