Entry Level Bank Teller

 

In this role as a Member Service Representative at SDCCU's Rancho Penasquitos Branch, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Efficiently and accurately transacting business on member accounts.
2. Promoting Credit Union products and services to existing and potential members.
3. Providing exceptional service to members and ensuring a positive member experience.
4. Learning and implementing cross-selling, up-selling, and referral techniques for products.
5. Handling cash transactions, if required.
6. Maintaining a professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
7. Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
8. Upholding ethical and compliant practices in all interactions.
9. Embracing the "Feel the Teal" culture of pride, passion, teamwork, exceptional service, accountability, and leadership.

Qualifications and Preferences:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and train in cross-selling, up-selling, and product referrals.

Preferences:

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Experience in a retail environment.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.25 per hour

Schedule:

• Weekday Schedule:
  • Monday: 8:15am-5:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am-6:30pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am-6:30pm
  • Saturday: 8:30am-4:30pm (rotating with another weekday off)
  • Sunday: OFF
