Job Title: Front Office Assistant - Eye Care Practice

Job Description: As a Front Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your main responsibilities will include handling phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, authorizing vision plans, pre-testing patients, and performing general front office administration tasks. Additionally, as you become more familiar with our practice, you may be involved in frame and lens selection, ordering and dispensing optical products, and providing minor repairs and adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in eye care is preferred.
- Familiarity with eye care terminology and equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of major vision plans is desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication are essential.
- Compassion for others and a team-oriented mindset are valued qualities.
- Ability to multitask and share responsibilities with co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm)
