Responsibilities:
Assist guests with self-check-in and out for their reservations, ensuring proper form of payment is taken.
Provide excellent customer service and service recovery when necessary.
Communicate with guests through various channels including hotel operations app, text, phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Provide information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
Ensure all arrivals for the current business day have fulfilled requests.
Answer phone calls using proper verbiage and relay important information to management.
Check out due-out reservations in the system and communicate any late check-outs or stay extensions to Housekeeping Supervisor.
Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are ready for check-in.
Respond to guest complaints with sympathy and understanding, aiming to correct issues promptly.
Document requests, concerns, and work orders using Alice Operations System.
Maintain a clean workspace and complete daily checklists.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Good command of the English language for effective communication with guests and coworkers.
Physically able to work 8-hour shifts on foot.
Thorough knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge of cell phones, apps, and tablets.
Desired:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous hospitality experience.
