The Partnership for a Better San Diego (PBSD) is the charitable branch of the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council, an organization that speaks for over 130 unions and 200,000 working families across the region. Our Work Environment Offers:

• Opportunities for Growth: We provide comprehensive training programs that include one week of classroom learning followed by two weeks of practical on-the-job training at one of our partner hotels.

  
  

• Employment Opportunities: After successfully completing the three-week training program, participants will have the chance to apply for open positions at a hotel.

  
  

• Requirements: We're looking for individuals who are friendly, possess a positive outlook, and work well with others. Duties include cleaning guest rooms, refreshing bed linens, towels, and toiletries, and attending to guests' needs. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds on a cart.
