Background:
UNICEF operates globally to improve the lives of children and their families. As part of its mission, UNICEF Türkiye is seeking an ICT Intern to support its Information and Communications Technology team. The intern will primarily assist in end-user support, maintenance of equipment, and monitoring systems to ensure effective ICT operations.

Deliverables:

  • Provide effective customer support and training.
  • Maintain photocopy machines, audio/video conference equipment.
  • Assist with imaging UNICEF laptops and troubleshooting accessories.
  • Maintain telecom equipment such as radio handhelds, SatPhones, BGAN.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree program, or graduated within the past two years (applicants must be at least 18 years old).
  • Fluent in English, with strong writing skills. Proficiency in another official UN language is an asset.
  • Demonstrated good academic performance.
  • Experience in related fields is advantageous.

Modality:
The internship is on-site and full-time, based in Gaziantep.

Stipend and Insurance:
Interns will receive a nominal stipend per month according to UNICEF's guidelines. Health/accident insurance is required, with costs borne by the intern.
