We are on the hunt for a passionate and skilled individual ready to take on the role of preparing delightful doughnuts, brewing exquisite coffee as a barista, and crafting delicious café foods, including sandwiches. Key Responsibilities:


  • Master the craft of dough, icing, and filling preparation following our signature recipes.
  • Bake a wide variety of doughnuts, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.
  • Decoratively finish doughnuts with both precision and creative flair.
  • Uphold the consistency and excellence of all bakery items.
  • Monitor and manage oven temperatures, making adjustments as needed.
  • Keep track of baking ingredients and supplies, maintaining adequate inventory levels.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service, assisting patrons with their bakery selections.
  • Operate espresso machines proficiently to fulfill coffee orders.
  • Prepare additional menu items, such as sandwiches and toast, with care and quality.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in a bakery or culinary setting is highly valued.
  • A knack for pastry decorating techniques will be considered a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow recipes.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality.
  • Strong time management skills to adhere to production schedules.
  • Well-versed in food safety practices and regulations.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Offer Details:


  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  • Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Restaurant Type: Bakery, Café, Quick Service & Fast Food Restaurant
  • Shifts: 8-hour shifts; Day, Evening, Morning, and Night shifts available
  • Weekly Schedule: Availability needed every weekend and Monday to Friday

Location Requirements:


  • Must be able to commute to or relocate to San Diego, CA 92104, with relocation required before starting work.
