About the Role:
The Programme Associate Child Protection Cluster supports the respective section(s) by carrying out various program support functions to help develop, implement, and monitor the country program. This includes ensuring effective and timely delivery consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support program design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support program development, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Provide feedback on project status and advise on improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support program delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to child rights or child protection and gender issues.
  • Minimum six years of program support experience, with at least three years in specific child protection projects. A bachelor's degree may replace three years of related work experience, and a master's degree may replace additional two years.
  • Experience in child rights, violence against children, and gender approaches is an asset.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian architecture, cluster coordination, and Child Protection in Emergencies principles.
  • Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.
