About the Role:

Chime is seeking engineers to join our rapidly expanding team, collaborating closely with our Paid Marketing and Product teams to drive enrollment growth and enhance spend efficiency. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, implement APIs, and ensure the ongoing health of our codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations for both new and existing features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively expand our paid advertising efforts across various channels.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the reliability and scalability of our systems.
• Work collaboratively within the engineering team to maintain high technical standards.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience developing software in a production environment at scale.
• Proficiency in Marketing Engineering concepts and implementations.
• Experience with databases and/or data warehousing.
• Proficient in building and consuming APIs; familiarity with AirFlow and/or Spark is advantageous.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
• Strong commitment to maintainable and well-tested code.
• A desire for continuous learning and understanding of complex systems.
