Software Programmer Position at MSI

Overview
MSI, a leading North American supplier of premium flooring, countertops, and hardscaping products, is seeking a skilled Software Programmer. This role involves working closely with a dedicated team to maintain, implement, and analyze technical systems, ensuring the company's software applications are optimally functioning.

Work Schedule

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM, with alternate Saturdays
• Compensation: Hourly rate of $32 to $35, overtime at 1.5 times base rate. Annual earnings between $70,000 - $80,000+, based on experience, overtime, and bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support software applications.
• Review, analyze, modify software programs and systems.
• Encode, test, debug, and document programs.
• Manage multiple projects and troubleshoot applications.
• Provide accurate status on programming solutions.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of software programming experience.
• Proficiency in .Net framework (versions 2.0 to 4.5), C#, SQL Server 2012, MS-SQL & T-SQL, XML, JavaScript, ADO, Web Services.
• Familiarity with EDI, object-oriented programming concepts, and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science with a focus on software development.
• Knowledge of business practices, supply-chain, accounting, inventory management is a plus.
• Essential skills include data mapping, pattern analysis, quick learning, creative problem solving, and project management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• MAS500 knowledge considered an advantage.

Physical Demands

• Regular handling of objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; verbal communication.
• Frequent walking, standing; occasional sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Need for close vision abilities.
